NoMU Vanilla Paste just won a SIAL Grand Prix Coup de Coeur Award for Trends and Innovation in the "Excellence in Packaging and Design" category in Paris.

During a glitzy awards ceremony held on the second night of the SIAL show, NoMU was called up on stage to join 20 other Judge's Favorites and to receive the Special Grand Winner's prize for their NoMU Vanilla Paste product.

"By the time they read out our name, 20 other winners had already taken to the stage. As we were all sitting in the darkness in the auditorium, we all sat separately counting the number of people already on stage. We were convinced the organisers had made a mistake. Maybe we hadn't won anything!", said a spokesperson from NoMU.

"Turns out that we won the main prize. For NoMU this is obviously a major achievement. It is the first competition we have entered and so therefore also the first prize we have won. To be picked from such esteemed company as the winner still has us a little breathless but has already had some amazing benefits such as an incredible listing with Le Grande Epicerie de Paris where you will be able to find NoMU Vanilla, Dukkah and Hot Chocolate located within metres of the main entrance!"
