Certificate in Wine Evaluation

Stellenbosch University is now offering a Certificate in Wine Evaluation via distance learning.
The course will not only train your tastebuds to appreciate the fine art of wine appreciation but you will also be certified to be selected for tasting on the the South African Wine and Spirits Board and Veritas tasting panels.

The course entails:
10 weeks tuition via a combination of distance learning via the Internet and contact sessions
two practical workshops held in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg (3 hours each)
covers 10 modules and 1 assessment during the 10 weeks
compiled and presented by Stellenbosch lecturer, Charl Theron
includes exposure to over 70 different wine samples including approximately 20 international wines
results in a Certificate in Wine Evaluation from Stellenbosch University .
