Restaurateur Juliane Thieme’s The Pasta Factory, renowned for tantalising pasta and pizza meals, is hosting the well-known Italian chef, Giuseppe Massolini, in a once-monthly cooking demo trilogy.





The second demo in the trilogy takes place on 15 September, when Giuseppe will prepare two fresh pasta and ravioli dishes, one with beetroot and ricotta and the other filled with butternut and cumin seed. The final cooking demo evening is on 14 October with two gorgeous desserts. Every creation can be tasted after the show.

Giuseppe’s cooking style is vastly influenced by his cultural beginnings in Italy: his food is handmade according to traditional north-Italian methods.

At R50 per person per demo, it’s affordable educational fun. The cover charge includes a glass of wine or fruit juice on arrival, the demo, tasters of the meals and entry into the lucky draw. Arrive around 7pm to grab a good seat; the demos start at 8pm. Booking is essential as seats are limited.
