Ocean Blue and Ocean Safaris are offering special whale and dolphin watching rates during this weekend. The first Orca whales were already spotted in the pristine bay in July, so September will be a prime viewing period. Get up close and personal with these huge mammals during a 2-hour ocean safari.
The weekend will culminate in a special Heritage Day beach jazz festival at Central Beach on Sunday, 23 September, from 12h00-17h00. The sizzling hot line-up will include inspirational sounds from some of the country's hottest jazz musicians like MTV award-winners Freshlyground, the Afro-fusion cross-over compositions of the Dino Miranda and his 7-piece band, sexy songbird Lira, the Offshore Jazz Quartet, Ladies in Jazz, Malaika and Selaelo Selota. Pack a picnic basket and enjoy the sensational setting with soothing jazz sounds.
